In Full Bloom: Urban Flower Co
I was first introduced to the splendour that is Urban Flower Co by the ridiculously talented Holly Rutter (be sure to check out her quirky illustrated cards, prints, mugs and notebooks on her Etsy shop) in what seems like a million years ago or also known as 2019. Over coffee and Greggs vegan sausage rolls we couldn’t stop scrolling through the Instagram feed of this floral boutique in North London. Each bouquet is bursting with colour, texture, and personality and this combination is what really sets them apart from others.
While the physical location is closed until December (or until lockdown number two is lifted) you can still get your hands on one of their gorgeous seasonal bouquets through click & collect or local delivery. They also have a lockdown flower subscription service and a range of indoor plants available, such as pin stripe calathea, desert cactus, aloe vera, and succulent trios. Also, if you want to get crafty in the lead up to the holidays they are hosting a series of virtual Christmas wreath workshops on Thursdays and Sundays.
